Joanna Buchta

Joanna spent her teenage years participating in amateur theatre productions, nurturing a dream of founding her own professional theatre company. However, after relocating to London in 2002, she shifted her focus from amateur theatre to a broader engagement within the Arts. Upon completing her Arts Management degree in London, Joanna primarily collaborated with independent theatre companies. She worked on site-specific productions with groups and individuals such as Kazuko Hohki, Kazzum, Panta Rei Theatre alongside Chiara D’Anna and Front Foot Theatre. Her extensive experience in the Arts extends beyond theatre, encompassing projects in independent music labels, film production, arts conservation, and interior design.

In recent years, Joanna has balanced her passion for theatre with her daytime work for a major signalling engineering company, a role that provides stability while she continues to aspire to produce.
